Author, veteran and international security specialist, Martyn spent the better part of two decades in areas of the world hardest hit by economic and environmental hardship. Returning to academia during his career to earn a masters degree in International Relations and Politics, combined with the experiences of his eventful career, has given him a unique perspective from which to approach these important issues, and challenge the status quo.
